What is a Coxswain?

In addition to rowers, we also love to have people join our club for the purpose of becoming a coxswain. Coxswains are lightweight and loud athletes that motivate and steer the boat. They are the personal coach helping their boat on and off of the water.

How competitive is the club?

We attend multiple competitions in and out of state throughout the country. We offer both a casual and competitive rowing experience. Casual club members want to learn to row and enjoy it as a sport, while competitive members seek to become the best rowers they can and will attend some competitions that casual club members will not as well as having additional practice and workout regimens.
